forcescnsitive asked: “Look at me– you’re safe.”

Panic was something she’d grown terribly accustomed to, something that came with the very way she breathed, the way she functioned, what ran in her blood, what she had BECOME. She was no longer the simple girl with a bright mind that shone like the suns under which the two had met. The girl who breathed the breezes that once swept on Alderaan was eclipsed by the weaponized woman that fell like a domino with the push the shock in her spine had given. Those shocks were warning, those shocks were her extra kick into her sensitivity to the galaxy around her. This war was what she had been tailored to FIGHT —- and everything in it were her battlefield, even in the safest places. Her own mind had become one.
Perhaps her movements and her twitch of response to the warning was obvious enough to catch the attention of the SANDY boy that innocent eyes had once fallen in love with, the way their eyes met —– oh, how the times had TOLLED on her. How YEARS of absence dragged her pure soul through tests she never volunteered for. The pain echoed in her eyes, it laid covered in the very core of her soul, hidden so far away. She would not be WEAK to her fear of what she had become.
Light eyes laid gently upon each other, a compassionate gaze of torn lovers that resounded a sort of comfort for the two bravery filled beings — and within the porcelain facade, a smile had cracked, something so soft upon shattered pieces of tarnished beauty. “ ————- I know.” Tumbled from her soft voice, a gaze lowered in a sort of BASHFUL relief. “I just.. FEEL everything. And —- Something feels off, that’s all.”
