he tracks the motion of fingers through her hair , the still bare expanse of skin as she reaches for his requested component and he KNOWS what she’s doing , damnable jedi . he probably deserves it . bottom lip is drawn between his teeth , but the pilot otherwise maintains a well practiced sabacc face , absentmindedly extending a hand to catch the screw in his palm . funny how EASILY he’d gotten used to that when only a few months ago he’d denounced anything having to do with the force , finds it almost damn endearing when she wields it like breathing . just another thing about him she’s inspired change in .     ❝  nonsense , i need someone to pass me my tools . most important part .  ❞     it’s about the only task he trusts her with , ESPECIALLY if her piloting and ship maintenance skills are on par with one another  —–  a feat that gives him some small degree of comfort . she can’t get the bright idea to ditch him on some backwater planet if she can’t fly a straight line or change a hyperdrive without him .     ❝  'sides , keeping you in my line of sight is good for my morale .  ❞     cue another rakish wink and shameless once over , before turning to tighten the screw into place with a satisfying click .     ❝  stay and i’ll sit through one of your blasted meditation sessions , won’t even complain about it either .  ❞

Tidreen knew far better, but would tiptoe around the dangerous line that barred her from enjoying ANYTHING. She knew why she stayed – it wasn’t completely based off choice of the HEART. Piloting was a skill she’d never learned to master, and he was overly exceptional in the field. Her quick mind was sharp in anything BUT the mechanics that pieced ships together – much yet, build a DROID
The smile danced its way onto her features, huffing out a small laugh at his wandering gaze, her eyes dropping to the way her hand retracted and moved to rest on her hip. A brow cocked at his proposal, and she watched as he turned away from her ——– strange how something so casual could contain such a sort of magnetic attraction towards each other. The TENSION bled into the air and made their banter all the more enjoyable. “ ——— Y’know, SLEEPING through meditation doesn’t count, right? I mean, sure, you won’t whine about it, but it destroys the entire POINT.”
